Who We Are
We are an agro-inputs company, supplying high quality innovative plant nutrition and plant protection products to farmers in India and other countries. We have two manufacturing facilities (both ISO certified) in Pudukkottai and in Jammu, India, to produce herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and plant nutrients for use across a variety of crops. We cater to the needs of domestic as well as global markets. Across years we have built a strong portfolio of products including patented solutions to boost crop growth and help farmers achieve high yields.
Our umbrella brand "ALLWIN" is a trusted household name among farmers. We have achieved fast growth in all our target segments through effective marketing activities engaging the farmers and channel partners. Our exports business is supported by strong teams of R & D and registration.
We started our journey in 1973. Our science based approach and the trust built across years, have helped us to reach the milestone of 50th year of our operations (2023). Emerging opportunities to bring more innovative products for farmers, in many geographies, excite us and fuel our efforts to Transform agriculture and our organisation.

We have a strong team of professionals comprising of Agriculture Graduates, Chemists and post graduates in Business management involved in operations and strategy, with long service records with us.
In acknowledgement of strong HR practices, the organization has been certified, for consecutive years, by GPTW as “Great Place to Work”.
Marketing Presence
🇮🇳Domestic Brand Business
We have built a significant presence in most of the states in the domestic market covering critical crops like Paddy, Cotton, Soya, Pulses, Wheat and Horticultural crops.
Our strength lies in providing R&D driven nutrition products under the Plant Health category and other pesticides under the Plant Protection category.
Through consistent customer contact programmes, changing needs of farmers are mapped and used to introduce new products through R&D every year. We also maintain strategic long-term co-marketing relationships with industry leaders like Syngenta and PI.
🌍International Business
We work closely with overseas partners in many countries to facilitate their brand development and provide technical support.
We have a dedicated Product Registration Division that specializes in local regulatory compliance. Supported by GLP laboratories, we generate robust data to support our expanding global footprint.
Manufacturing Units
Ramcides has two manufacturing units with modern equipment to produce and supply in time to all the states in domestic market as well as supply to global markets. Both units have ISO certification, adopt efficient processes and respond to market requirements within short time.

Both units are run by teams trained in the latest technology and have successfully implemented 5S practices. Our supply chain operations are strengthened by buffer depots in Ludhiana andHyderabad, ensuring seamless distribution nationwide.
Research and Development
Our R&D Centre, named as RN Centre for Research & Development, after our beloved Chairman, is based in Chennai and was established in its present location in 2009.
Equipped with high-end instrumentation, the lab develops innovative patented solutions for diverse crops. Our science-first philosophy translates farmer needs into sustainable market opportunities.
